Mod GT Challenge

Hello, as promised, here are some new conversions.

The Mod GT Challenge features slightly modified GT4 cars. This championship is for gentlemen drivers. A sort of GT4bis championship.

The first cars available are:

  • The Ford Mustang RTR GT4
  • The Chevrolet Camaro GT4R
  • The Nissan 370Z Racing
  • The Toyota GR Supra GT4

I'm told through my earpiece that other cars (European?) will soon be joining the party.

Fred, a big thank you for these. Such fun cars to drive, so responsive and great feeling overall. Yet another great release. Love the GT4 class, so this is an unexpected gift. Looking forward to see what other goodies will come our way to complement the 4 initial cars. As always, great work.

Sorry for the back-to-back posts, but I just re-downloaded the 38 file again and can confirm what Matt says below, Windows defender flags v1.04 file with a "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" severe grade threat.

Always appreciate the mods! Unfortunately, I am getting consistent crash to desktops using the new cars. Installed via CM, same way I've installed your other mods without issue. The 370Z is also missing from the new GT class on my end. Only 370Z I have is the cup car previously released. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple times, same two issues.

Could it be that your antivirus is messing things up, as per your other posts? It's a good idea to have Windoze Defender exclude the AMS2 folder from scanning, possibly even your downloads folder too, so that it doesn't mess up the downloaded files. Also a good idea to turn off Defender while downloading/installing the mods. Me and most others have not had this issue with the 370. I recommend deleting the 38 folder, doing as I mentioned above with the exclusions, turn off Defender then d/l the file again and try the install via CM. These are great mods that you don't want to be without, hopefully these suggestions will work for you. Let us know if it works and if you found a solution.

Thank you! Unfortunately this is being flagged with windows defender and cannot download. Its saying Virus detected.

Fred's and all other known mods are perfectly safe to install. Disable Windoze Defender, then d/l and install the file. Set Defender to NOT scan the AMS2 folder (think it's called exclusion or something). This is an old song that keeps replaying itself. Modded cars from Fred ARE SAFE!
